Grillo with a Touch of Millboard
One of the options on the new Grillo Vantage outdoor kitchens is having a Millboard ‘Feature Wall’. A feature wall is a perfect way to personalise your kitchen and turn it into a stunning visual centrepiece for your garden.
Millboard is a premium composite material, with a beautiful hand moulded finish used in many landscaping projects for decking, steps, cladding, and much more. And the great news is you can now match your kitchen with your Millboard deck!

We offer 2 Millboard options: Driftwood and Embered. Both of these options look stunning and match nicely with the rest of the Vantage kitchens. It is possible to incorporate any of the other Millboard finishes – simply replace the Driftwood or Embered with a board of your choice. Please note that with other Millboard ranges, the boards are slightly narrower, and will need to be cut to the correct widths to fit.
Driftwood Weathered Oak
The ‘Driftwood Weathered Oak‘ boards have the incomparable look of sea-washed timber. Driftwood’s subtle hue and characterful texture create an easy, relaxed style, ideal for laid-back coastal living. The light colours of the Driftwood boards create a great contrast to the dark sleek carbon steel kitchen construction.
Embered Weathered Oak
Richly textured and dramatically chic, Embered provides a sensational stage or backdrop to a glamorous outdoor space. By combining the look of Japanese heritage techniques with contemporary engineering, Millboard’s Embered boards achieve the on-trend style whilst retaining the overall dark sleek look of the main kitchen.
Back views
Throughout the design of Vantage kitchens, the Grillo design team have been extra vigilant to ensure Vantage even look stunning from the back. Millboard Feature Walls come with a carbon steel panel to cover up the back of the Millboard boards, and maintain a seamless matching look.

Millboard FAQ's
Can I have a Millboard Feature Wall behind my BBQ?
This is not an option for any outdoor kitchen, as the heat emitted directly out the back of most BBQ’s is significant and could cause a hazard if used for extended periods of time.
What is the best BBQ cabinet Feature Wall to use in conjuncture with Millboard?
For maximum flexibility, we’d recommend the Porcelain feature wall behind the BBQ. The porcelain is one piece and therefore does not conflict with the horizontal lines that Millboard creates.
