Tagliata di Manzo

It’s not just a pizza oven

People have been cooking in clay ovens for centuries, Marco Biasetti from Delivita, show us how to cook steaks, as a sensational starter for your guests.

‘A technique that has been used for centuries’

Ingredients: sirloin steak, salt, pepper, chilli oil, and rocket salad

Place the iron tray in the oven, to get it very hot. Take the sirloin steak, add olive oil, salt and pepper, and some chilli oil. Rub it in on both sides, let it marinate for a couple of minutes. Take the tray out of the oven, with a heatproof glove, place the steak on the tray, and put it back into the oven. After a minute, take the steaks out, turn them over and put them back in for another minute, depending on how rare you like it. Slice the steak and place it on a bed of rocket, drizzle the sauces from the tray and dust with salt.

The smells alone will invite your guests in.
