Pizza Margherita

 

So simple, but so delicious

 Marco Biasetti from Delivita, shares with us the simplicity, but amazing flavours of the pizza margherita.

‘Parmesan adds a depth of flavour’

Ingredients: ready-made pizza dough, tomato sauce, mozzarella, parmesan and basil

Take the ready-made dough, dust your surface with flour, put the dough on the surface, and push out from the centre.  Then pick up the dough and turn it in your hands like a steering wheel, gravity will help to shape the pizza.  Lay the dough back on the surface and stretch it out.  Add the tomato sauce to the centre and then spread out, leaving the crust free.  lay the basil and break up the mozzarella over the pizza, and finish with parmesan cheese.  Dust your pizza peel with flour and pull your pizza onto the peel.  Place the pizza in the oven.  Turn the pizza 3 – 4 times during the cooking process, it will cook in 90 seconds.  Once ready add some more basil, slice and serve.

Remember to wait for it to cool down before you dig in.
