Garlic And Chilli Prawns
“A lovely starter and very delicious meal”
This dish works great with an olive and tomato salad and some freshly baked ciabatta bread for soaking up all the garlicky, chilli butter. Wash down with a nice glass of chilled white wine or grape juice. What more could you want on a warm summer evening!
Ingredients – 2 large garlic cloves, two tbs butter, 1-2 tsp chilli flakes in oil, large king prawns and salt.
Method – Place your pan in the pizza oven to heat. Crush and finely chop the garlic cloves. Take the pan out and add the chillis (as much or little as you desire) to the hot pan with the butter & garlic; the butter will melt with the pan’s heat, then add the prawn’s coat with the butter and season with salt, return to the oven for 3-4 mins. Spoon over the butter and serve.
