The Grillo pergola is available in four fixed sizes. Small: 3.3m x 2.7m / Medium: 3.9m x 3.9m / Large: 5.1m x 3.9m / Extra Large 6m x 4m

The most popular size is 3.9m x 3.9m, allowing a 3.6 metre kitchen layout. For larger spaces, pergolas can be placed side by side, and a discreet weather seal is placed across the join to ensure a watertight seal.  

Yes! Your pergola can be ordered to arrive after the kitchen, this is not a problem at all. Grillo outdoor kitchens can be left outside year-round, so a few weeks or even months of exposure won’t affect the kitchen. Caribbean Blinds can even retro-fit kitchens from previous years, as long as they have the kitchen dimensions.

For optimal stability, it’s recommended to install the pergola on a full solid concrete base. However, installation on existing surfaces like porcelain tiles, decking, or natural stone is also possible, provided the ground is level and stable. Please discuss your surfaces with Caribbean Blinds.

Yes, Caribbean Blinds provides fully bespoke pergola solutions for your requirements. Custom sizes and finishes outside of the 4 Grillo pergolas are available upon request from Caribbean Blinds, but as these are not standard, they do come with a cost implication. If you just need more space, you may wish to consider placing 2 standard sized pergolas side by side instead.

The standard Grillo pergola sunscreens are a neutral tone designed to contrast with the pergola. Other colours of sunscreens are available on request, but as these are not standard, changes to sunscreen colours do come with a cost implication. Discuss this directly with Caribbean Blinds for the details.

All Caribbean Blinds pergolas feature a smart, integrated water drainage system for more information. designed for efficiency and discretion.

• Sealed Louvres: When closed, the louvre roof forms a watertight seal with a gentle 6cm fall, guiding water toward the structure’s edges.

• Integrated Guttering: Hidden within the cross beams, internal gutters collect rainwater from the louvres.

• Internal Downpipes: Water flows through concealed 50mm downpipes within the post uprights—1 drainage leg per 15m² of roof area. The small Grillo pergola requires 1 drainage leg; medium and large sizes require 2. Posts can be selected to suit your layout.

• Flexible Drainage Options: Water exits discreetly at the base of the posts onto existing surfaces (e.g. patios), or can integrate with soakaways in new garden builds or under-decking solutions.

• Controlled Flow: The system is engineered to ensure fast, splash-free drainage—even in heavy rain.

Yes, Caribbean Blinds’ louvred roof pergolas are designed to be fully watertight when closed. The interlocking louvre system provides a watertight seal, effectively shielding your outdoor space from rain. 

The louvres in Caribbean Blinds’ pergolas can rotate up to 150 degrees, allowing you to precisely control sunlight and ventilation. The motorised system enables you to adjust the louvres to your desired angle for optimal comfort.

Caribbean Blinds’ pergola prices include VAT and cover freestanding installation within Caribbean Blinds’ service area. Required: a load-bearing concrete base (pad) and a power connection to a client-provided 13amp external socket, located close to the structure.

Option prices apply to selections made at the time of order and do not reflect retrofit pricing. Retrofit installations are subject to a separate £600 installation fee. Please note: heating and lighting cannot be added after installation, as it requires a different roof louvre to accommodate the lighting.
