Small outdoor kitchen for a show garden

The kitchen was situated against the rear wall of the garden, with the Chef’s Anvil taking pride of place with a small ‘island’ of its own. The overall effect was stunning. The garden was contemporary in its design, yet had a beautiful, wild feel from the diversity and distribution of its plantings. This perfectly complemented the Grillo kitchen. The natural greys and warm oranges of the garden structures and plantings seamlessly blend with those of the kitchen. Just as the wild, natural feel of the garden helps tame its contemporary edge, the clean lines of the kitchen are broken by the irregularity of the logs and the nasturtiums spilling over the edges of the planters.
