Outdoor kitchen in Leicestershire
‘Carpe diem: A Latin Aphorism, usually translated as ‘Seize the day.’
Used to urge someone to make the most of the present time and give little thought to the future.
This outdoor kitchen in Leicestershire, at the heart of this phenomenal garden, is the perfect spot to gather around with your loved ones and make the most of every day.
Designed by The Garden Design Co with meticulous attention to detail, this garden effortlessly combines luxury, comfort and style, showcasing a personalised space that reflect the owner’s tastes. Featuring a luxurious hot tub, an opulent fire pit seating area, a large eight-seater dining table and a Grillo Outdoor Kitchen, this space exudes elegance. The neon sign, bearing the phrase ‘Carpe Diem’, seamlessly integrated into the faux foliage feature wall, adds the personal touch of the client – a young football player with discerning taste.
The Grillo outdoor kitchen boasts two distinct sections, each tailored to different needs. To one end of the table, you’ll find a blend of functionality and convenience. The two Vantage cabinets offer generous storage, an integrated ice well ensures drinks are kept refreshingly cool, whilst the Voltiq electric BBQ promises an easy and clean grilling experience.
On the opposite end, the kitchen layout acts as an inviting bar area. Anchored by another Vantage cabinet, the design offers additional storage and worktop space. The inclusion of the fridge and bin unit keeps beverages within reach, ensuring glasses are never empty, while also allowing the space to be kept tidy at all times. Completing the set-up is our standing bar that runs along the back of the units, accompanied by stylish bar stools. This creates an inviting space for relaxation and socialisation, setting the perfect atmosphere for outdoor entertainment.
The materials chosen for this landscape create a striking yet cohesive aesthetic. The black carbon steel of the outdoor kitchen units harmonises with the charcoal pergola overhead. This modern focal point contrasts with the cream walls and patio slabs, that provide a clean and elegant backdrop. The Iroko hardwood, inlaid throughout the kitchen, complements the wooden garden fence and eight-seater dining table, fostering unity throughout the space. This deliberate material selection ensures a balanced and visually appealing outdoor space that blends contemporary elements with natural textures.
