Outdoor kitchen in Keston, Kent
Garden designer Chris Benson, founder of The Landscape Design Studio, recently completed a captivating project that seamlessly integrates a Grillo Outdoor Kitchen into the space.
Meeting the Client’s Vision
For this particular project, Chris’s client had a vision for a contemporary garden design with multiple entertainment spaces. They desired an outdoor kitchen that could withstand the elements, and it was Chris who introduced a Grillo Outdoor Kitchen into the project.
While researching outdoor kitchen solutions, Chris was introduced to Grillo. He appreciated the quality and design and recognised that the selected materials allowed the kitchens to blend effortlessly into a range of environments. He knew it would be an ideal addition to this project.
The design process saw the integration of a Grillo outdoor kitchen, a fire pit and a garden room. The final touches included an automated irrigation system, well-thought-out lighting and a meticulously crafted planting scheme.
Material Selection and Aesthetic Harmony
The materials of the Grillo Outdoor Kitchen significantly influenced those chosen throughout the rest of the space and the overall project aesthetic. The material palette was carefully selected to create a harmonious blend, featuring soft grey porcelain tiles, slate walling, and decking, all complemented by K render walls. The dark kitchen frame creates a striking contrast with softer greys, delivering a visually impactful result.
For this particular project, the client fully embraced the design, resulting in an outcome that delighted both the client and designer. While the project faced some minor interruptions, due to adverse weather conditions, the execution was otherwise smooth. This showcases Chris’s meticulous planning and the ease of collaboration with Grillo.
Smooth Sailing and High Praise
Chris noted that working with Grillo was a seamless experience, stating that the design process was intuitive, with free access to CAD detailed plans and elevation drawings greatly aiding refining designs. He has not only had positive experiences but also wholeheartedly recommends their outdoor kitchens, confidently introducing Grillo to his clients on numerous occasions, based on his trust in the product and its ability to enhance outdoor spaces.
Having talents like Chris as trade specifiers, who share our commitment to outdoor spaces, is a privilege. This project demonstrates the elegance and functionality of Grillo outdoor kitchens, seamlessly enhancing the beauty of garden designs.
