This chic outdoor kitchen in Burwell, Cambridge epitomises luxury outdoor living. The space has been split into zones which complement each other through colour and material selections.

A charcoal grey corner sofa sits on a grey two-tonal rug, creating a feeling of warmth that acts as a reflection of an internal living space. For chillier evenings, the seating is dressed with blankets and cushions which showcase accents of blue, tying in with both the hues of the sofa and rug but also with the decorative books styled on top of the coffee tables. The coffee tables match perfectly with the sofa, with charcoal slats wrapped around the sides. The table tops are made from wood, creating a bridge between this area and the bordering garden fence in the backdrop.

The wood coffee table tops also match the Iroko Hardwood that is inlaid throughout the Grillo Outdoor Kitchen, adding a natural feel to the contemporary grey and black tones. Complete with a Bull Gas Grill, Delivita Pizza oven and double Vantage Fridge Unit, this outdoor kitchen layout has been designed with hosting in mind. This is particularly evident given the positioning of the kitchen at the head of an eight-seater table which is also made from wood, creating cohesion between all the elements. The tablescape includes deep blue crockery which couples with the décor used throughout the space. A floral centrepiece adds a touch of greenery, mirroring the herbs held in the ‘Hang it, Hold it’ on the slatted feature wall.

“An outside kitchen was an important part of our garden renovation. I did a lot of research and made the decision to go with Grillo as it was the most robust offering on the market – primarily because I love to cook and host, so I wanted something that would stand the test of time.  The whole process was super simple – the sales team was great, and we even popped into the showroom before we ordered and the team was very accommodating. Just before installation I actually changed the order and swapped a unit for an outside fridge (definitely the right decision) and it wasn’t a problem for the team at all.

The fitting team was lovely – clean, tidy, and explained everything before they left.  The kitchen is an intrinsic part of our new outdoor space and works perfectly – we love it!”
