The kitchen is made of a mix of black powder-coated carbon steel with Iroko Hardwood. The Iroko hardwood is very hard-wearing, low maintenance and very durable, and over time it gently silvers, creating a sun-bleached effect if left uncoated. Some people prefer to put a stain or oil on to retain the original colours for longer. For more information, please visit how to care for the Iroko hardwood.
