Can the kitchen be left out all year round?
Our premium outdoor kitchens are designed to be kept outside all year long! The materials are extremely hard wearing, so our outdoor kitchens can cope with all weather – sun, snow and rain! What is the kitchen made of?
A Grillo outdoor kitchen is made of black powder-coated, heavy-gauge aluminium with a contrasting seam of iroko hardwood. Grillo worksurfaces are made from highly durable Grillo Plateau™ sintered stone. For more information on the design and materials please visit our design and materials page.

What is the lead time on my outdoor kitchen?
It’s important to note that only a certain number of slots are available each week for installation. In the warmer seasons especially, we advise planning ahead to avoid disappointment. Contact us for up to date availability.
What is the delivery / installation cost of a Grillo outdoor kitchen?

How long is the kitchen under warranty? And what does it cover?
Grillo outdoor kitchens are built to last and have a 10-year warranty on the kitchen structure and structural materials. Barbeques, appliances and other accessories are covered by manufacturer’s warranties. For more information on warranty, please visit our warranty page.
How do I clean my Grillo outdoor kitchen?

How will my kitchen look after 3 years?
We understand the worry that possessions and furniture left outside will deteriorate, rust or even rot. Do I need to lay foundations?

Does the outdoor kitchen need to be covered?
No, it doesn’t! You can leave your Grillo exposed all year. Some of our customers do choose to cover their outdoor kitchens with a pergola or an outdoor structure, but you definitely don’t need to do this to get a Grillo outdoor kitchen! Read more on our blog Does My Outdoor Kitchen Need a Roof?
How long is the kitchen guaranteed?

How long does the outdoor kitchen installation take?
The time it takes to install the kitchen varies depending on the size, but most of the kitchens will be installed in less than a day. Read more on our delivery and install page.
What surfaces can my outdoor kitchen sit on?

What is the difference between a Grillo Gusto and Big Green Egg?
Both are what is called a ‘Kamado’ BBQ and are made with high quality materials. Many of our clients prefer the Gusto as it matches nicely with the Grillo outdoor kitchen range. Read our blog on kamado BBQ comparison for more.
Can I put my outdoor kitchen on decking?
Yes, Grillo kitchens are freestanding, which means they work on any flat level surface, patio or decking. You may need to ensure that the decking is strong enough to hold the weight of the kitchen. Please see our blog post on free standing kitchens for more information.
What happens on the day the outdoor kitchen gets installed?
Our trained fitters will send a text on the day of installation, build your kitchen in place and leave the site tidy and remove all packaging and rubbish. Read more on our delivery and install page.
Does the kitchen come with fitted covers?
All our BBQs, pizza ovens and Chef’s Anvils come with covers as standard, and we recommend keeping the covers on when not in use. The kitchen itself is designed to be left outside all year no matter the weather. For more information, visit our blog caring for your outdoor kitchen.
My garden or balcony is quite small, can I still have an outdoor kitchen?
The smallest outdoor kitchen we do is a single cabinet which is 1200mm x 610mm, so as long as you have this much space and some space to stand in, anything is possible! Read more on our blog: Small Outdoor Kitchen Ideas
