Can the kitchen be left out all year round?
Our premium outdoor kitchen cabinetry is designed to be kept outside all year long – without covers! The materials are extremely durable, so our outdoor kitchens can cope with all weather – sun, snow and rain. What is the kitchen made of?
A Grillo outdoor kitchen is made of black powder-coated, heavy-gauge aluminium with a contrasting seam of iroko hardwood. Grillo worksurfaces are made from highly durable Grillo Plateau™ sintered stone. For more information on the design and materials, please visit our design and materials page.
Can I customise my kitchen layout?
Yes. Grillo kitchens are modular, so you can create a layout that works around your space, how you like to cook and how you want to use the area. How do Grillo compare to other outdoor kitchens?
Outdoor kitchens vary enormously in price, quality and level of customisation, from lower-cost flatpack options through to fully bespoke kitchens costing considerably more. What is the lead time on my outdoor kitchen?
Lead times vary throughout the year depending on our production schedule, seasonality and installation availability. Warmer months can be particularly busy, so we recommend planning ahead. Please contact our team for current availability.
What is the delivery / installation cost of a Grillo outdoor kitchen?
Delivery and installation costs vary depending on your order and location. Opt for our trained installers to build your kitchen on site on a day of your choice, or opt for delivery only and build the kitchen yourself. What warranty does a Grillo outdoor kitchen come with?
Grillo outdoor kitchens are built to last and have a 10-year warranty on the kitchen structure and structural materials. Barbeques, appliances and other accessories are covered by manufacturer’s warranties. For more information on warranty, please visit our warranty page.
How do I clean my Grillo outdoor kitchen?

Do I need to lay foundations?

How long does the outdoor kitchen installation take?
The time it takes to install the kitchen varies depending on the size, but most Grillo kitchens will be installed in less than a day. Read more on our delivery and install page.
What surfaces can my outdoor kitchen sit on?

What is the difference between a Grillo Gusto and Big Green Egg?
Both the Grillo Gusto and Big Green Egg are ceramic kamado-style barbecues, made with high quality materials. Many of our clients prefer the Gusto as it matches nicely with the Grillo outdoor kitchen range, but a Big Green Egg is compatible with our cabinets too. Can I put my outdoor kitchen on decking?
Yes, Grillo kitchens are freestanding, which means they work on any flat level surface, patio or decking. You may need to ensure that the decking is strong enough to hold the weight of the kitchen. Please see our blog post on free standing kitchens for more information.
What happens on the day the outdoor kitchen gets installed?
Our trained fitters will send a text on the day of installation to notify you of the time slot they’ll arrive. When they get to you, they will begin to build your kitchen in place before giving you a walk-through of your kitchen. After leaving you a small gift, they’ll leave the site tidy and remove all packaging and rubbish. Read more on our delivery and install page.
Are BBQ covers included?
BBQs, pizza ovens and Chef’s Anvils ordered with the Vantage kitchen range come with covers as standard, and we recommend keeping the covers on when not in use. You can purchase covers and other replacements on Storehouse, our spares and accessories shop.

My garden or balcony is quite small, can I still have an outdoor kitchen?
The smallest outdoor kitchen we do is a single cabinet, which is 1200mm x 610mm, so as long as you have this much space and some space to stand in, anything is possible!
